LOCATION Jingwan-dong, Seoul, Korea PERIOD Jun. 2021 PROJECT TYPE International Competition PROJECT AREA 15,430.00 ㎡ PROJECT DESCRIPTION A light, highly dynamic architecture that plays on the offset of the different levels defining an organism that is strongly integrated into its surroundings, with non-rigid boundaries. A structure crossed by a multiplicity of possible paths, as well as by the light that favors the viewpoints and glimpses of the various beautiful surrounding landscapes. The vehicle driving system is designed for maximum efficiency and at the same time to minimize the environmental impact. The service access become progressively underground, going to serve in a timely and targeted the base of each building,where with an efficient system of lifts and escalators, visitors can directly access to the different buildings. On grade, comfortable drop-off zone for public transports are designed. The iconic and memorable architecture is marked by the high towers, a precious treasure chest of conservation, crossed by the lightness of the slabs that define dynamic levels sliding and stretched outwards. Like a "sheet" leaning, the roof strongly recalls the traditional Hanok with its shading and protection effects.
